BoltAudit comes out of years of WordPress performance work, where the slow part was never finding problems. It was knowing which one actually mattered.
Every speed tool we used could say a site was slow. None of them could say what to delete, what it was costing, or what to do first. So diagnosis stayed manual: an afternoon of Query Monitor, spreadsheets, and educated guesses, for every site, every time. BoltAudit is that afternoon turned into software: name the cause, estimate the cost in visitors, rank the fixes, apply them with a way back.
Then search split in two. People still Google, and they also ask AI assistants, which cite a different set of pages. So we gave BoltAudit a second engine: one visibility score from Google to AI answers, with the same evidence-first, one-click-undo rules as everything else.
Every finding names the measured fact behind it. If we cannot defend a number, we say estimate unavailable instead of inventing one.
Free checks run on your server and send nothing. AI runs only when you run it, and you can read what it sends first.
A backup before every change, a record of every change, and a one-click undo on every change. Software you can trust on a production site behaves like this.
BoltAudit is built by BetterDots Technologies, a software studio that builds and runs its own products. We are a small remote team, which is exactly why the plugin automates the work we used to do by hand.
The Local Audit is free, read-only, and runs on your server.
